SBFS uses Dell domain servers for our user security, file server, print server, remote access and office automation tools. The main server currently is powered by dual Intel Pentium 4.1.2 GHz processors secured by a dual power supply. We run Microsoft Exchange 2003, maintaining current service packs. A separate accounting server is dedicated to the accounting functions we perform for our clients. A third server supports custom-application development. A fourth server is dedicated to our manifest system that handles rate shopping from all carriers and prints a compliant label for the selected carrier. SBFS also maintains a video surveillance server that records video from 16 different cameras strategically placed through out the company.

Our employees’ PCs run Microsoft Office applications and various other programs as required according to their duties. Throughout our warehouse are wireless access points allowing us to transfer PCs, printers and even RF scanners freely, whenever needed.
